The elementary school also hosted a wonderful family game night for around 200 people! Families came in and filled our gym and cafeteria with smiles and laughter - and learning with games! Each family was also able to take home a game to keep on learning and enjoying!
Games can be educational in many ways. Turn taking, patience, and learning how to win and lose gracefully are the most obvious thing to learn while playing games. There are many other benefits to playing games with your family! They were introduced to games that help bolster literacy and mathematics skills and shown how they relate to those topics. Then they were also able to take games home!
