We are thrilled to welcome our new Music Teacher & Band Director to the Merrill Community Schools family! A recent graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Mr. Brandon Elliott has a strong belief in building positive relationships and creating an environment where students can flourish. Coming from a small town himself, Mr. Elliott understands the deep connection our band program has to the community and he is excited to continue our established traditions—and maybe even add a few new ones along the way!

Thank you to Angela from Fisher Companies for visiting Merrill Elementary today. Ms. McKibbin's class was awarded a Truckload of Books from Michigan Construction. This is a great way to expose students to different backgrounds and offer diversity in classroom reading materials. Thank you to sponsors who make this possible.

🌟 Caring is Sharing Fundraiser! 🌟
At Merrill Elementary, we’re excited to kick off our Caring is Sharing Fundraiser to support our students and community! Your child can join in on the fun and help make a difference by donating $1 for a special activity of their choice:
✨ Wear PJs for a day!
🎩 Wear a hat for a day!
🎉 Vote on how Mrs. Zimmerman will dress up!
🍿 Enjoy a popcorn or snack from our office snack cart!
Every dollar goes directly towards supporting our families this upcoming holiday season. It’s a simple and fun way to help our community while letting the kids enjoy a treat or two. Thank you for your continued support in making Merrill Community Schools a place where students love to learn and grow!

Congratulations to all who ran!
