
Field Day Fun started with a final PBIS prize drawing and celebratory cheer to end a great year. Students played Tug of War, Three legged race, free throw contest and so many other fun activities.

Timber Creek Petting Farm and Apache Acres visited our little Vandals today. Students were able to see a variety of animals from snakes and crocodiles to hedgehogs and a monkey.
Famous movie star dogs, Storm and Little Chef, were also present. You can find them on Facebook at “The Adventures of Little Chief and Storm” or see their movie on Amazon titled "Red's Shadow".

The kindergarten classes hosted a mini open house for our current preschoolers to help ease the transition to elementary school. This fun filled event allowed the preschoolers to spend time with our kindergartener teachers and explore their classrooms, generating excitement for the upcoming school year!

The students in Mrs. Gagne's Kindergarten class recently released their classroom butterflies after observing the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. This hands-on experience allowed the students to learn about the metamorphosis process in a fun and educational way.

This past Saturday, K-3 Lego Club students attended their annual competition. Students had an amazing time exploring robots, building with Legos, presenting their skills to judges, and completing many STEM activities. Students took home trophies and medals in ¨Terrific Teamwork¨, ¨Innovative Inquiry¨, ¨Fantastic Building Design¨ and programming skills. Way to Go!

The 3rd grade students had a blast on their field trip to Chippewa Nature Center last week! They had so much fun learning about nature and exploring the outdoors. It was a great day of hands-on learning and adventure.

The elementary students had a fantastic time viewing the solar eclipse yesterday. They were all so excited and amazed by the experience. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about the science behind it all too.

We had a blast at our March is Reading kick-off assembly today! Author, Kathy Diebold, read her beautiful book and the students were able to give the Competitive Cheer team a nice send off and good luck wishes! We played some fun games and announced the winner of the Johnathan Rand Fundraiser Challenge....SLIME the Principal! Over $1240 was raised to bring Johnathan Rand to our school!
