STEM Night is coming! Code, Create, Celebrate!

Join us for an exciting evening full of science, technology, engineering, and math fun! Come see what our amazing students have been up to, from hands on classroom projects to awesome field trips and more.

Today, our whole district celebrated the "Great Apple Crunch"! This fun day is all about eating crunchy, tasty apples- especially ones grown right here in Michigan. Here are just a few awesome apple facts that we shared with our students:
- Michigan is the second biggest apple growing state in the country.
- We have around 17.6 million apple trees growing on 850 family farms.
- All of those trees grow on 38,000 acres of land and is expected to produce 30 million bushes of apples.
- About half of those apples will be sold fresh, while the other half are used to make things like applesauce, apple juice and canned sliced apples.

We celebrate this vital Michigan industry that supports both healthy eating and our local farmers. In addition to a fresh snacks in the classrooms, students also received a fun treat during breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria.
