Our staff has been hard at work taking our learning to the next level! Here is a look at what our team spent time focusing on:

Student Safety First: Our staff completed SEC Training to stay fully compliant with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and Michigan State Police safety requirements. This includes updated language and brand-new safety operation plans tailored for each of our buildings.

Leadership & Growth: Our building leaders participated in a powerful session on Visible Learning by John Hattie, provided by Saginaw ISD. This directly supports our major PD focus for the year: Collective Efficacy—the belief that we can all make a difference, and that impact is multiplied when we work together!

We are thrilled to recognize Morgan Good, our Middle/High School Art teacher, for her incredible dedication to our students!

Mrs. Good is being honored for her commitment to student success. Known for the constant smile on her face, she has a unique gift for meeting students exactly where they are. While some students enter her classroom unsure of their artistic abilities, Mrs. Good uses her creativity to encourage and inspire them to do their absolute best.

Alexis ensures our schools run smoothly and everyone feels a genuine sense of belonging. From volunteering countless hours for sports and activities to collaborating with local businesses, her dedication spans from the Elementary level all the way to the High School. She consistently goes above and beyond for students, staff, and visitors alike, tackling every new challenge with infectious positive energy. Our Girls' Competitive Cheer team is heading to Central Michigan University this Friday, 3/6, to compete for the State title! The action starts at 2:00 PM and we want to see those stands filled with Vandal pride! 🏆🔥
