Meet with April Schomaker and Corey Nichols to choose your child's summer camp adventure! We will discuss weekly themes, fieldtrips, communication and expectations! OUR LADY VANDALS ARE HEADING TO STATES!! They hit districts and regionals by storm 🌪️We couldn't have made it this far without a great school and community behind us! But we are looking for help from our community once more.
#1 We are having a parade!! Friday at 11 am we will be having a send-off parade for our ladies. The map is pictured below. We ask you to line the streets of the parade route to show these girls just how much support our great town has for them! We will start at the school high school parking lot and end at Greta's parking lot.
#2 - Help us paint the town orange and black!! Wednesday between 9-11 am we will be on the parade route hanging decorations and painting windows. If you are on the parade route and would like your windows painted please comment here or text/call Coach Fiting at 989-326-3261.
#3 - Can't make it to the State finals to cheer the girls on? No problem!! We are collecting well wishes from community members and businesses. We will be compiling all of them and making booklets for the girls to open on Thursday night. It will be another great way to show how much community support their truly is. Letters of encouragement can be sent to Coach Fiting at hhkitchens48614@gmail.com or via Facebook Messenger.
A wise man (Tom Mayan Sr. ) Once said; "Without a great school, we cannot have a great community. And without a great community, we cannot have a great school! Merrill is blessed with both! Thank you for all the support for a Lady Vandals Competitive Cheer Team!

The students prize is a free night of celebration and fun! Students will be able to attend a Spirit Hockey Game featuring Red Wing Alumni!

Hello Vandal Families: Due to the winter storm warning that will go into effect between 10 am and noon tomorrow which is expected to produce hazardous road conditions, Merrill Community Schools is closing Friday, January 12, 2024. All of Friday's evening activities and sports practices will be cancelled as well.
We hope this Michigan winter storm gives you a chance to kick back, cuddle up and relax. Most importantly stay safe and warm our there, Vandals!

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the school closure today we are rescheduling tonight's organizational board meeting for next week. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 7:15 pm.
Welcome back Merrill Elementary students and families! We hope everyone enjoyed their break. We are happy to see all of the smiling faces and laughter return to the halls.
