The Merrill Community Schools Summer Feeding Program has been a delicious and nutritious bonus for the Merrill Community. No one has to go hungry with this program in place! Children 0-18 or persons 19-26 who are enrolled in a program for the mentally or physically disabled can eat breakfast and lunch for FREE Monday - Friday. Adults can purchase a complete breakfast for $2.00 or a complete lunch for $3.00. You do not need to be affiliated with Merrill Community Schools to participate in this program! We believe that every individual should have access to healthy and filling food to fill the hunger gap. A special shout out to Cassie Mueller who has spent her summer cooking and serving yummy meals to all who visit us at the Merrill Elementary Café for Meet Up and Eat Up! #WeAreMerrill #VandalPride

We wanted to let you know about a Skyward update that will be initiated today, Thursday, April 20th after 2:00 pm. Please note that when you log into Skyward after that time, students, staff and guardians will be prompted to verify their current password (by typing in their password twice). Moving forward, Skyward will now require a minimum password length of 8 characters and will become case sensitive. If your password does not currently meet the new minimum password length, you will be required to change your password. If you do not know your current password, you can use the 'Forgot my Password' link. This strong password requirement is rolling into place to increase user security. Several Merrill students were nominated earlier this year to attend The Great Lakes Bay Youth Leadership Institute. Derek Schoch, Shealynn McCormick and Hope Fiting were nominated by their teachers for displaying great leadership qualities. Last night they were awarded at the annual Great Lakes Bay Youth Leadership Institute Banquet.
