If you have an incoming kindergartner, we hope to see you at camp! No need to register ahead of time. To check your child in you must have a registration on file. Don't have one on file, no worries! You can complete your registration packet any time between now and drop off! See you there little Vandals!

Last week we served 513 kids. This was a total 3528 breakfast and 3528 lunches dispersed in our community! We would like to send out some special thanks yous this week to Vanderwall trucking, Cindy and Slim, for the donation of bottled water. We would also like to thank Superintendent Gwen Glazier, Beth Thompson and family, Branden Newton, Sue Roe, Alexis Monk and Bonnie Muller for donating their time to help distribute the water and food last week. This is a huge undertaking and we couldn't do it without the help! We take Vandal pride in helping to keep the children in our community filed up with nutritious meals throughout the summer!

Do you need an easy back to school solution for your child's health screenings or immunizations!? We have a solution for you! The Saginaw Health Department in partnership with Great Lakes Bay Health Centers is providing all of the above to families on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1600 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI 48602. Walk ins are welcome from 9 am to 3 pm.

On Saturday August 3rd grab your kids, your friends, your parents, and your neighbors! This is an event anyone can do! Immediately after the parade the color run/walk will take place at the township park! Register in advance to guarantee a shirt. It is only $10 per person, that includes the shirt! Farm Fest weekend will be packed with all kinds of fun, but you don't want to miss this! All proceeds will benefit the High School Girls Basketball Program. #WeAreMerrill #VandalPride

Last week we celebrated our 5th grade students achievements before they move on to Middle School. Students had on display their All About Me poster, Clay Earth Model, and Character Trait Self Portrait. Students also played 2 pieces from their band book and sang "Firework" by Katy Perry. Congratulations to all of our 5th grade students! You are on your way to great things! Have a restful summer break!

Merrill varsity head coach Dave DeBeau has been inducted into the Michigan High School Baseball Hall of Fame. He has been the varsity head coach at Merrill since 1989. Congratulations, Dave!
