As we celebrate Bus Safety Week, it's crucial to remember the importance of following bus traffic laws to keep our children safe. When you see a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop sign extended, ALL lanes of traffic must come to a complete stop—no exceptions! This law protects students boarding and disembarking the bus.
Additionally, when you see yellow flashing lights, it signals that the bus is preparing to stop. Be sure to slow down and get ready to stop your vehicle.
Let’s work together to ensure a safe environment for our Vandals. Remember: Safety is everyone's responsibility!
