On Saturday August 3rd grab your kids, your friends, your parents, and your neighbors! This is an event anyone can do! Immediately after the parade the color run/walk will take place at the township park! Register in advance to guarantee a shirt. It is only $10 per person, that includes the shirt!
Farm Fest weekend will be packed with all kinds of fun, but you don't want to miss this! All proceeds will benefit the High School Girls Basketball Program.

Last week we celebrated our 5th grade students achievements before they move on to Middle School. Students had on display their All About Me poster, Clay Earth Model, and Character Trait Self Portrait. Students also played 2 pieces from their band book and sang "Firework" by Katy Perry. Congratulations to all of our 5th grade students! You are on your way to great things! Have a restful summer break!



Merrill varsity head coach Dave DeBeau has been inducted into the Michigan High School Baseball Hall of Fame. He has been the varsity head coach at Merrill since 1989.

Congratulations Lady Vandals on your win at the Valley Lutheran Invitational on Saturday!
In game 1 your Vandals won 12-6 over Carrollton. Hannah Glover was 3 for 3 with a over the fence homer and 3 RBIs! Kalah Coty ended the game with 11 strikeouts and 3 RBI's!
Your Vandals won game two 8-1 over Valley Lutheran. Hannah Glover and Abby Luft continued with hot bats getting 2 hits each and Neveah Sysak and Kalah Coty had 2 RBI's each.

Congratulations Merrill Varsity Baseball on your championship at the Holt Invitational on Saturday! Merrill swept up the competition with a 13-0 win in the championship game! Awesome job, Vandals!

Lilly Sweet, who brought home gold at the state SKILLSUSA competition and will be heading to nationals, is currently being featured on a billboard in Frankenmuth advertising Saginaw County's Career Technical Education Center.
Lilly has learned valuable skills for her future through the Culinary Arts Program at the Saginaw Career Complex. Through this partnership Merrill students have unique opportunities to explore career fields and receive advanced training in areas they are passionate about!
Way to go, Lilly! You are making Merrill proud!

Mrs. Good is dreaming big for next school year! Her top 4 "If I could have anything" items are listed below!
1. A glass display case to expand the 3D hallway display capabilities.
2. 2-3 sewing machines.
3. 2 full-sized ironing boards (and 1 additional iron).
4. A class set of 6 table-top drawing mannequins.
